Tuberculosis

Treatment of tuberculosis in Children and Adults - Dosage Recommendations
Therapy of tuberculosis requires a multidrug regimen with agents active against the clinical isolate. Susceptibility testing of initial isolates should always be obtained. The American Thoracic Society and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that initial therapy be given with four drugs: isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide and ethambutol or streptomycin.
