IUSM Libraries acquire Lippincott Williams & Wilkins online journal archive

Filed under: Online Resources — cmethod @ 10:38 am

The IU School of Medicine Libraries have acquired the Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Journal Legacy Archive on behalf of IU. This includes more than 3 million pages of archival research from over 200 journals in nursing, medicine, and healthcare from volume 1, issue 1 of the journals (one as early as 1827) through 1999. The journals are presented in PDF format that can be browsed, and have headers & abstract that can be searched in Journals@Ovid. The archive complements the library’s current subscription to Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Total Access collection that includes access to articles from 1999 to the present.

To search the article headers, connect through Journals@Ovid using the Ovid link on the Library home page. To connect to a specific journal, go through Journals@Ovid, or through the library A-Z title list on the library home page. For a complete list of the acquired journals, see this list.
