The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases that contain high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The Cochrane Library consists of the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), the Cochrane Methodology Register, the Health Technology Assessment Database (HTA), and the NHS Economic Evaluation Database (NHS EED).

The Medical Library has added a new database called Pediatric Care Online.
Pediatric Care Online is a comprehensive resource from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), an organizartion of over 60,000 board certified pediatrican members dedicated to the health of all children. Pediatric Care Online combines comprehensive clinical information, such as the AAP Textbook of Pediatric Care and Bright Futures, with pracitical pont-of-care resources, such as the Visual Library, Drug Database, and Interactive Periodicty Schedule. The Medical Library now subscribes to BMJ Case Reports. BMJ Case Reports delivers a focused, peer-reviewed, valuable collection of cases in all disciplines so that healthcare professionals, researchers and others can easily find clinically important information on common and rare conditions. This is the largest single collection of case reports online with more than 1000 articles from over 55 countries.
